What is PDO?

PDO is a course which stands for Pre Departure Orientation. The duration of this course is 3 days.

Every year a lot of people who are proficient, non-proficient and half proficient goes to various countries including Middle East for employment. Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training runs this PDO program for them.

 
Why would anyone apply the PDO course?

A. This course will help the migrant/expatriate workers who wish to join work abroad to have a thorough understanding of the immigration process, prevailing laws of the country, necessary policies and employment regulations abroad.

B. Job aspirants abroad will get a prior idea about the job, overall security and environment of their destination country.

C. Moreover, a clear understanding of various communicable diseases and related ongoing policies and procedures is available.

 
Requirements for BMET Registration and Biometric (Fingerprint) of MRP Passport Holders :

01. Photocopy of Passport Black-White/Colour-1 copy

02. Photocopy of visa black-white/colour-1 copy
03. Proof of own bank account (eg top page of check book/
Photocopy of check page/deposit slip in black-white/colour-1 copy.
04. Bank account proof of any member of the family (eg photocopy of top page of check book/check page/deposit slip in black-white/colour-1 copy.
05. Copy of BMET Registration. (Go to room No. 105 for BMET registration,
Bkash 200 BDT and collect your copy of BMET registration)
